Miracle. This was the first word Jemia Agarpao and Janine Alariao have to say after
they ranked 2nd Place in the 2019 Division Festival of Talent Dressmaking Contest
held at Sanchez Mira School of Arts and Trades last October 5, 2019.

The contest which was participated by 21 schools aims to showcase the talents of Cagayano students. When asked about their feat, Janine Alariao, a grade ten student Cattleya said, “I can’t believed we won 2nd Place. This was like a dream for me and I did not see it coming. During the contest, we were under time pressure and we just want to finish it on time.” “I felt really nervous in the last minute because there are only 14 of them who submitted their output. Luckily, they were able

to pass their output and be adjudged 2nd.” said their coach Mrs. Evelyn Asuncion Defeo.
Meanwhile, Liam Cariňo, a grade nine student landed 5th Place in the Electrical Installation and Maintenance. His coach Mr. Jimmy Usita revealed that Cariňo was the first one to finish among all contestants but forgot to double check his work that is why he fell to 5th Place. In the hair and make up contest, Dyui Kate Contillo and Samantha Sistoza won 10th Place. Their coach was Ms. Daisy Rallos.
