Garcia said that lenient parenting style is the root cause of students\u2019 tardiness during the seminar on responsible parenthood held at the school gym on August 31, 2019. <\/strong>The said seminar is the administration\u2019s response on the growing number of students who come to school late. The principal said that when he talked to students the common alibies that the students told him are sleeping late, distance of home to school, family problems and others. \u201cIf we are to analyze the root of the problem, it all falls down to parenting. For instance, bakit hindi niremind ng magulang na gumising ng maaga ang bata gayong malayo ang distance from home to school. Bakit hindi pinagbawalan na magselfon magdamag gayong may klase kinabukasan?\u201d said Principal Garcia. \u201cThere are also some na nagsusumbong sa akin. Habang kumakain daw pinapagalitan ng magulang. It should not be because meal time is supposed to be a family bonding.
