After\nthe appeal of ASAT Alumni Association, Inc. President Rex Navarro to support\nmore scholars, the number of scholars had a significant boost as an additional\n15 slots were opened for the school year 2019-2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFrom\n27 scholarship slots that we have last school year, the number of slots has\nincreased into 42 this school year. 37 of it has recipients already. As of now,\nwe are still looking for five more students to occupy the remaining slots.\u201d\nrevealed Mrs. Noemi U. Sibayan, the chairman of the scholarship committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nscholarship program has two categories namely academic and endowment grant.\nStudents under the academic scholarship grant will receive Php 1,000.00 per\nmonth while the endowment scholars will take home Php 500.00 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once\nchosen, the students must maintain their academic standing in class and exhibit\na commendable character.\n\n\u201cIsang napakalaking tulong sa akin at sa aking\npamilya ang masali sa Scholarship. Dahil sa natatanggap kong pera ay\nnababawasan ang mga gastusin sa aking pag-aaral. Higit pa roon ay may\nmatutulungan ko ang aking mga magulang tuwing kapos sa pera.
