An alumna of the school who requested not to be identified donated 600 pieces of hollow blocks amounting to P9,600.00 to support the school\u2019s fencing project, yesterday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Mr. Sol Calata, the donor who works abroad as a health worker decided to donate after learning that the school is in need of funds and materials to construct a perimeter fence that will range from the school\u2019s northern gate to the grade 7 building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We would like to thank the generous donor from Canada who wanted to remain anonymous for the purchase of 600 pcs. hollow blocks that will be purposely used for the ASAT FENCE. The Aparri School of Arts and Trades will never forget your support and kindness to your Alma Mater. May God bless you and your family a thousand fold,” said Calata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I hope that this donation will serve as the spark for more donations to come as the school is in need of more materials and funds for the realization of our fencing project,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Principal Nimfa A. Alagao also extended her gratitude to the donor’s generosity and love to her alma mater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The school envisions the construction of school perimeter fence separating the TESDA and ASAT, however, our funds are not sufficient and available so we will need the help of our alumni and other stakeholders,” Alagao said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To encourage more donors, the Teachers and Employees Association of the School issued joint resolution 1 s. 2021 with the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) requesting alumni to provide assistance for the construction of perimeter fence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
