Dayao.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Eight in every ten learners of Aparri School of Arts\nand Trades said that they miss the traditional face to face learning modality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This data was obtained during the first week of\nclasses as teachers monitored the implementation of distance learning modality\nin the municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI really miss attending my face to face classes\nbecause if there are some things that I cannot understand, I can directly ask\nmy teachers about it.\u201d said Kristine Pascua, a grade 9-Mahogany student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another student of the school named Ashley Nicole\nBitauag said that despite of her being an honor student, there are still some\nconcepts that she found hard to comprehend alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhenever I encounter problems in my modules, I ask my\nparents about it. If they also do not know how to explain it, I search the\ninternet to find clues but if there is none, I call my subject teachers so that\nI will be enlightened. I really miss my teachers and classmates.\u201d Bitauag said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pascua and Bitauag are only two among the 2660\nstudents of the school who wanted the face to face learning modality to be held\nonce again. Unfortunately, they must wait until a vaccine will be found before\nthey step upon their traditional classrooms again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Mrs. Mely R. Bitauag said, \u201cIba pa rin\ntalaga sana kapag may teachers na magtuturo sa mga bata. There are some\ninstances when even us parents cannot understand the content of the lessons. I\nhope that a vaccine will be found so that learners can go back to the learning\nmodality that they used to take.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNevertheless, we are still very thankful to the\nteachers because whenever we need them, they are just one call away. There are\neven times when I call teachers late at night to ask about the modules.\nThankfully, the teachers are very accommodating to us parents.\u201d She added.#<\/p>\n ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By: Mark Jason U.
