After the appeal of ASAT Alumni Association, Inc. President Rex Navarro to support more scholars, the number of scholars had a significant boost as an additional 15 slots were opened for the school year 2019-2020.

“From 27 scholarship slots that we have last school year, the number of slots has increased into 42 this school year. 37 of it has recipients already. As of now, we are still looking for five more students to occupy the remaining slots.” revealed Mrs. Noemi U. Sibayan, the chairman of the scholarship committee.

The scholarship program has two categories namely academic and endowment grant. Students under the academic scholarship grant will receive Php 1,000.00 per month while the endowment scholars will take home Php 500.00 per month.

Once chosen, the students must maintain their academic standing in class and exhibit a commendable character. “Isang napakalaking tulong sa akin at sa aking pamilya ang masali sa Scholarship. Dahil sa natatanggap kong pera ay nababawasan ang mga gastusin sa aking pag-aaral. Higit pa roon ay may matutulungan ko ang aking mga magulang tuwing kapos sa pera. Nais ko pong pasalamatan ang aking sponsors ipinapangako ko pong mas pagbubutihan ko pa ang aking pag-aaral.” said Ayyara Maximo, one of the AAAI scholars.#
