Scribes join School-Based Presscon

To hone the journalistic skills of budding journalists, the Industrialist conducted a two-day School-Based In-Service Training on Campus Journalism with the theme: “Worthy and Resourceful Industrialist Training for Excellence” on July 26-27,2019 at Aparri School of Arts and Trades.

            The two-day training was attended by 89 students from the JHS and SHS department.      

            “This two-day training on campus journalism aims to train student journalists in the communication arts in order produce quality student writers and articles which we will put in the school paper.” explained Mr. Mark Jason U. Dayao, the school paper adviser.

            “As a participant, you will learn a lot of things about journalism. I encourage you to listen attentively to the brilliant pool of speakers in order to make the most of learning.” he added.

            The participants attended lecture and writeshop on the following categories: news, editorial, cartooning, feature, science and health, copyreading  and broadcasting.            

The winners will have the chance to represent the school in the DSPC. #
